Tickled Pink!
We are delighted that you’ve stopped by to visit us here at effie’s paper. In fact, we’re tickled pink! effie’s paper is the brainchild of lifestyle guru and noted author, Kalyn Johnson Chandler; she’s the founder and creative force behind our paperie.  But don’t be fooled, no company can run smoothly without lots of hands on deck!
While effie’s paper is Kalyn’s brainchild, we are an organization of like-minded individuals who love aesthetics, design and beautiful paper products.
Our company namesake, Mrs. Effie Hayes, Kalyn’s maternal grandmother, believed in hand-written notes and having a stash of personal stationery appropriate for just about any occasion. Much to the chagrin of Kalyn’s husband (Manhattan storage issues), she was the dutiful granddaughter who obliged.  Now, we’re bringing our love of stationery and fine paper products to you.
We’re just tickled that you’ve decided to join us on this journey. Pull up a chair, sit back and stay tuned for the beautifully designed notecards and whatnot that we have in store for you!
p.s. We know that our namesake would have been just tickled about effie’s paper!

It was dark when I woke. This is a ray of ssuhnine.
Glad you’re back! I’ve been away from blogging quite a bit this seummr, too. It’s overwhelming to try to get caught up with everyone, isn’t it?I found a new blog the other day that made me think of you. It’s full of DIY projects, many of which use thrift store finds. I spent an hour paging through it and adding to my own project list because she has so many great ideas. I love it and I think you will, too. I’ll look up the link and send you an email.

hey holly…just went over and read your interview…i wish i had half your enegry–so many great things you are juggling! thanks for stopping by my place…the cemetary in LA that holds the movies and they do concerts too is called Forever Hollywood. It is a beautiful old cemetery that was in disrepair for many years, but has been restored and renewed. there are lots of great “old movie” stars buried there as well. it is a must-do event if you find yourself with time to spare on a saturday night in LA!
